Since a new fabrication plant for solar arrays is built and new processes are implemented from the development stage to the series fabrication, we are seeking for employees in our System Engineering / Quality Assurance department to strengthen the team.
Tasks and accountabilities
- Responsible planning, execution and surveillance of project related product assurance tasks, in particular:
- Creation of project specific product assurance plans
- Definition and verification of PA requirements for subcontracts and internal activities
- Support to creation and release of technical documentation (RAMS-Analyses, parts-, material- and process-qualification)
- Carrying out production control, inspections, test support and delivery reviews
- Representation of Spacetech PA Approach versus customers and subcontractors
- Analysis of quality problems, development and implementation of solutions with corresponding documentation
- Measurement and evaluation of process weaknesses, definition and implementation of improvements
- Preparation and execution of quality audits (at SpaceTech and at subcontractors / supplier level)
Required skills and experience
- Degree in Engineering with several years of working experience in a Product/Quality Assurance environment
- Good understanding of Space Product and Quality Assurance principles and methods
- Knowledge of Standards used in Space industry (ECSS, ESCC, MIL)
- Experience in reliability and dependability analysis would be an asset
- Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
- Team player, good organisation and communication skills
- Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
