Model and Performance Engineer (m/f/d)

Due to our increased engagement in the area of laser-optical instruments, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our team.

Your tasks

• Develop mathematical models for electro-optical space instruments, e.g. for instrument performance model 
• Implement real-time compatible simulation functions
• Integrate models with test bench interfaces and data buses
• Design and implement configuration file handling
• Support error injection, fault detection, and performance validation
• Collaborate with system engineers and optical engineers
• Deliver documentation, test cases, and verification reports

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience in C/C++ and/or MATLAB/Simulink
• Background in numerical modeling, control systems, or aerospace simulation
• Familiarity with real-time systems, data buses, and signal processing
• Experience with scientific software development and model verification
• Ability to work with customer specification documents, and simulation frameworks
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German in an asset
