Mechanical Test Engineer (m/f/d)

All our phantastic projects require hardware to be tested for the harsh thermal conditions in space. For this purpose, SpaceTech operates a wide range of thermal test facilities in Immenstaad. If you love to handle space flight hardware, prepare and run complex tests and operate sophisticated test facilities, we have this interesting job opportunity for you.

Your tasks

• Analyse and iterate test requirements and negotiate test conditions with internal and external stakeholders
• Finite-Element Analysis for Vibration test prediction, sine and random response analysis
• Analyse and define test setups
• Participate in internal and customer meetings
• Test scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure fulfillment of quality standards and test requirements
• Initiate and lead troubleshooting process in case of unplanned deviations, define corrective and preventive actions and report status

Your skills and experience

• Master‘s degree in engineering, physics or related field
• Experience with vibration test planning and execution required
• Experience with structural analysis is a plus, nastran solver
• Knowledge of ECSS is a plus
• Experience in shock testing is a plus
• Good report writing skills
• Good English language skills required, German language skills is a plus
