Due to our increased engagement in the area of space electronics and laser-optical instruments in collaboration with international partners and institutes, we are searching for new employees to strengthen our team in the electronics and software department.
Your tasks
- Technically responsible person for FPGA within the interdisciplinary project team.
- Definition of electronics architectures in a team.
- Specification and architectural design of FPGA for satellite and space applications
- Detailed FPGA design and coding based on VHDL
- Simulation and synthesis of FPGA designs
- Validation of FPGA designs on the target hardware in an interdisciplinary team
- Participation within internal process improvement
- Documentation of design and test activities
- Presentation of technical topics internal and external
Your skills and experience
- Degree in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent
- Detailed knowledge of FPGA design flows and FPGA design based on VHDL
- Experience in typical FPGA design tool chains
- Basic hardware knowledge and interest to understand the FPGA surrounding hardware as a system
- Experience in radiation tolerant design techniques is an advantage
- Experience in space-related design-flows is an advantage
- Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility. Hands-on mentality.
- Team player with good organizational and communication skills within an international and interdisciplinary team
- Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
