The recent years
The recent years were full of highlights for SpaceTech...
The first ESA Instrument Flight HW was delivered (S5 CAS) in 2021.
In 2022, we opened our SA Factory and signed big series production contracts for Arrow and York Solar Array Wings and SADAs. And we signed the first of 4 Solar Array contracts for Copernicus.
The ESA EUCLID S/C was launched for which STI had led a consortium for the Sun Shield in 2023.
In the same year, the ESA JUICE S/C was launched for which we had built the RIME Antenna, a Subsurface Radar to look for water under the ice crusts of the Jupiter moons.
What happened? The antenna did not fully deploy. It was a very stressful time for us to find the reason and finally achieve a successful deployment.
Space is hard.
