Today and the future
STI portfolio with 4 pillars - two big and two smaller ones:
Solar Arrays
STI is leading supplier for constellations and a recognised supplier for EO and science.
Optical Instruments
STI is European leader in laser interferometry with our roles in GRACE-C and NGGM and leader of a consortium to develop a Space Optical Clock under ESA contract.
Our two smaller pillars are:
Satellite Electronics
STI as the responsibility for units on Copernicus and Galileo.
Systems and Components
STI has the capabilities to design and implement small space systems. SpaceTech is an established supplier for satellite components like the CESS or mechanisms of all kinds.
The SpaceTech turnover is healthy and we have a lot of hardware in space. Mostly thanks to the constellation programmes.
What comes next?
First we are eager to occupy our new building - the offices in one new building are already filled. SpaceTech is in the lucky position to have full order books and we can rely on the innovative potential of our employees.
Employees: 150 - 180 (including CarboSpaceTech: 220 by mid 2025)
