SpaceTech's first major contract

Venturing East: In the early days SpaceTech was able to get some interesting work in the East.

A first big contract was to support Taiwan with the build of FormoSat-5. It consisted mainly of system engineering, procurement, and also the first own hardware.

Another important partner at the beginning was the Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences GFZ. 
With GFZ, STI worked on a Tsunami Warning System, a 2-f GPS Receiver and the first ideas for Grace Follow On were discussed.
