SpaceTech celebrates Solar Array number 431-438 working in orbit, launched on July 26, 2025 as part of the CO3D satellites built by Airbus Defence and Space in partnership with CNES. All arrays successfully deployed and are operating nominally. They are based on the OneWeb design with a significantly increased stiffness to support the exceptional agility of the CO3D satellites, thereby achieving an optimized and cost-efficient solution.

More on CO3D

In the early hours of July 26, 2025, at 4:03 a.m., four small CO3D (Constellation Optique 3D) satellites were successfully launched into low Earth orbit (LEO) by an Ariane Vega C rocket from the European Spaceport in French Guiana. The mission is a collaboration between Airbus Defense & Space and the French space agency CNES. The four 285kg optical satellites form a small constellation that will deliver 50cm stereo images and 2D images. The data collected will meet both military needs for accurate and up-to-date maps and civilian applications such as hydrology, geology, civil security, urban planning, and land and resource management.
