Due to our growing mechanical department, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our optical instruments team.
Your tasks
- Mechanical Design of complex light weight structures for space projects, with emphasis on deployment systems
- Conceptual design and dimensioning of modules and individual components
- Support to deployment- vibration- and shock-tests of structures
- Preparation of design and test documentation
- Presentation of designs to customers
- Providing support to proposals
Your skills and experience
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines
- Proficiency in CAD Systems, preferably Solid Works
- Willingness to take over AIT activities in the cleanroom
- Systematic and independent working style
- Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
- Team player, good communication skills
- Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
